Be glad.
It’s certainly easier said than done. However, sometimes a job opportunity simply wasn’t meant to be. Accept it and move on. Ruminating over it for days isn’t going to help the situation, and often times a better-fit opportunity is just around the corner. So be glad you’re available for it.
Most of all, don’t fall into the trap of self-pity when you’re rejected for a job. While it’s ok to feel bad for a short time, it’s important to pick yourself up, find out areas where you can improve, and continue moving forward so you ultimately land the job you want.
