More and more employers are conducting standard checks to verify a candidate’s work history, dates of employment, residences and more. So if there are discrepancies between the information you provided and what they find, then you could be knocked out of the running for the job.
Conducting Skills Testing.
Even if you do a great job during the interview process, many employers still want you to take a skills test before making an offer. The reason is simple: to ensure you have the basic skills and qualifications you say you have to do the job. If you do, you’re in the clear…if you don’t, though, then you’ll need to continue your job search.
